Having been born and raised in the Southern interior of British Columbia, Canada, I was blessed to have been exposed to all of the natural resources that area had to offer. Riding horses or dirt bikes through the forest, rafting in the rivers and swimming in the lakes, I always felt close to nature and its precious gifts. I grew up loving the outdoors as many Canadians do, and got into the building trade at a young age so I could work outside. I found the structural aspect of building the most interesting, working as a framing carpenter, and later, a licensed General Contractor, in California. In building homes, making cabinets, windows and doors, the beauty of Redwood captured my heart.
